New branch of popular bakery opens in Bolton town centre TODAY
Greggs needs no introduction and lovers of the chain will now be spoilt for choice when craving a sausage roll, steak bake or one of their vegan alternatives.
The shop opened in Sainsbury’s on Trinity Street this morning (April 11) at 11am, boasting a new modern look.
Its opening has also created 10 new jobs for the town.
Gillian Long, Retail Operations Director for Greggs, said: “Our new shop in Bolton has brought 10 new jobs to the local area, as well as providing customers with a modern convenient new place to experience their Greggs favourites.”

New users of the Greggs App can also get a free hot drink of their choice after registering – and a free sweet treat on their birthday each year.
Customers can skip the queues with the app by ordering through Click + Connect.
The Sainsbury’s shop will serve Greggs classics such as southern fried chicken goujons, potato wedges and a variety of pizzas.

New to the pizza selection is the veggie feast pizza, margherita pepperoni, spicy Mexican chicken and pepperoni hot shot.
After 4pm, customers can get a drink along with their pizza slice from £2.85 rather than the usual £3.50.
The opening hours for the new Greggs, which has indoor and outdoor seating, is 7am to 7pm on Monday to Saturday and 10.30am to 4.30pm on Sundays.
Greggs has over 2,600 shops nationwide, employing around 32,000 workers.
It was founded in 1939 by John Gregg, originally delivering fresh eggs and yeast by pushbike to the families of Newcastle.
