Bolton Porsche join scheme to give local youngsters ‘that extra bit of belief’
This comes after Porsche Centre Bolton, based on Manchester Road, Burnden, joined the Friends of Foundation 92 programme.
This is the membership scheme of Foundation 92, Salford City Football Club’s official charity which aims to help young people with their physical and mental wellbeing.
Porsche Centre Bolton head of business Steve Webb said: “We’re really excited to be part of this because it’s not just about sport, it’s about giving young people that extra bit of belief in themselves.
“If we can help even a few girls take that next step in football, then it’s worth every penny.”

Partnering with the foundation marks another step in moves by Porsche Centre Bolton, which is part of the Bowker Motor Group, to support community initiatives.
The business offers new and approved pre-owned Porsche models, servicing by Porsche-trained technicians, and genuine parts and accessories.
But partnering with Friends of Foundation 92 will help the company make a lasting impact on the lives of young people throughout the community.
Through the scheme, the Manchester Road car dealership’s support will contribute to initiatives such as fully funded girls’ football sessions.
This will help offer girls the opportunities to develop skills and progress along the England Talent Pathway.
Foundation 92 also provides a range of educational and outreach activities aimed at widening access to sport for all age groups.
Members of the Friends of Foundation 92 scheme like Porsche Centre Bolton receive a welcome pack with branded merchandise.

They also receive two Salford City FC tickets each month along with online and social media exposure, and invitations to exclusive events.
The foundation says that the scheme’s funds directly support the delivery and expansion of its programmes.
Foundation 92 CEO Martin Ingham-Griffith said: “Partnerships like this make a huge difference on the ground.
“It means we can keep more sessions free, open more doors for girls in football, and make sure nobody misses out just because of where they live or their circumstances.”
