New celebrity chef unveiled for Bolton Food and Drink Festival 2025
Renowned chef and restaurateur, Marco Pierre White, has been unveiled as the latest celebrity guest who will be hosting three very special sessions on August 23rd.
It is his first time at the Food and Drink Festival.

The TV star has featured in numerous TV cooking shows including MasterChef, Hells’ Kitchen and Marco Pierre White’s Kitchen Wars.

White, who became the youngest chef to receive three Michelin stars, will be taking part in the festival alongside James Martin, having become a regular at the annual August bank holiday festival.
Cllr Nadeem Ayub said: “I am delighted to welcome Marco Pierre White to Bolton’s Food and Drink Festival this year.
“His attendance goes hand in hand with other celebrities who visit Bolton regularly. I am excited for the Food Festival and welcome members of the community to take part.”
Last month, legendary 90s boyband East 17, anounced that they will be taking part in the renowned food festival this summer on the main stage at Le Mans Crescent on the August 24.
Also announced is the Faulty Towers Dining Experience is back again by popular demand, with tickets now on sale.

(Image: Martini Archive) Taking place from Friday, August 22 to Monday, August 25, the four-day extravaganza will celebrate its milestone 20th year, putting the spotlight on the town centre as a vibrant hub of global cuisine, live entertainment and activities for the whole family.
James will headline the final day of the festival on Monday, August 25, serving up three high-energy live cookery demos at 11am, 1pm and 3pm – sharing some of his favourite dishes, tips, and trademark charm with fans.
