Bolton: Arrest after ‘failing to appear at court years ago’

Following enquiries, officers from the Bolton North neighbourhood team went to an address in Radcliffe to look for the man and located him.

The man now remains in police custody and will appear in court this morning (Thursday, December 7).

No further details of the case have been published.

A spokesperson for Greater Manchester Police said: “This evening, officers from the Bolton North neighbourhood team have been over to an address in Radcliffe to track down a man who failed to appear at court in 2020.

“A 50-year-old man has now been arrested.

“He remains in police custody to be taken straight to court tomorrow morning.”
