Satisfy opens Paris flagship(s)

After gaining serious momentum globally in recent years, the high-end running and lifestyle brand Satisfy is returning to its Parisian roots with its first permanent flagship store — or rather, two.

Opening on Friday, Sept 4, the new retail concept occupies two buildings facing each other on Rue de Saintonge in the Marais. Designed by the Parisian architecture studio ciguë in collaboration with Satisfy founder Brice Partouche, each space serves a distinct purpose.

At No. 47, “Supply” houses the brand’s apparel and footwear alongside art, vintage objects, records and other pieces reflecting Partouche’s eclectic world. Raw walls, exposed pipes, wood and concrete give the space a deliberately unfinished character.

A monumental three-part oil painting by New York artist Othelo Gervacio takes centre stage, drawing inspiration from natural-history dioramas and American West realism. Photographs have also been transformed into murals, while products are displayed almost like artefacts.

The experience extends beyond the visual. Visitors can consult store advisers who are experienced runners, including ultra-trail runners, offering first-hand expertise and a deeper understanding of the sport.

A custom scent developed in collaboration with the Parisian perfume studio ROOM1015 adds another sensory layer to the space.

Across the street at No. 54, Fuel Station takes inspiration from convenience stores and hardware shops, focusing on the practical side of running. Alongside Satisfy’s nutrition products, runners can refill their bottles with water and electrolytes.

The store also takes the idea of fuelling quite literally, with seaweed-based gels and mushrooms grown and produced on site.

“Together, Supply and Fuel Station are the most complete expression of Satisfy we’ve ever created. They’re the physical embodiment of the world we’ve been building for the past eleven years,” says Partouche.

Founded 11 years ago, Satisfy has built a cult following by positioning running as a lifestyle intertwined with music, art, design and outdoor culture. Its Paris flagship brings that universe offline, giving physical form to a brand whose identity has always been rooted in the analogue.
