Cooling mist offers relief to elderly residents amid Seoul heatwave

Elderly residents of a low-income Seoul neighborhood sought relief in cooling mist systems and water-spraying trucks on Tuesday (August 4) as South Korea’s record-breaking heatwave continued to grip the capital. Cho Sang-yeon, a 57-year-old resident sitting outside a store, said he had never experienced the heat as much as this year in more than two decades of living in the area. – REUTERS
